New WMBU community forum launched

I’m pleased to announce that I have now added a new ‘Community Forum’ section to this website, and fellow bus users in the West Midlands area are welcome to sign up and participate.

It’s been great to see so many people engaging in discussions on our WMBU Facebook page, as well as commenting on various articles that have been published on this website.

However, I do accept that there are still a large number of people who either do not – or choose not to – use Facebook, and the number of articles that I publish myself here on this website allows for limited discussion opportunities.

So by opening up a proper ‘community’ section on this website, it will allow bus users from across the West Midlands region to start their own discussion, or get involved with others.

Got a question you want to ask, or an opinion you want to share? Or perhaps you have some useful advice to pass on? Then you’ve come to the right place!

As a regular bus passenger myself for the last twenty plus years, I’m keen to hear the thoughts and opinions of my fellow bus users, and I hope this will become a great place for bus passengers to share ideas and experiences, and offer advice and suggestions to each other.

I would also really appreciate it if anyone from any bus operator or transport group would consider actively engaging with the community here.

And please do share this with anyone you know who might find it useful, whether they are on Facebook or not!

Click or tap on the ‘Community Forum’ link in the main menu, or click here to get started. Click on the ‘Register’ link in the forum menu bar to create an account.

Please note, that for now, to avoid any conflict of interest, I am limiting the scope of this forum to general passenger-focused bus service questions, queries and advice for now; bus spotters and enthusiasts are of course welcome to participate at the WM Buses In Photos Forum run by Tony Hunter, which I am involved with as a technical consultant and moderator.
